Things are starting to look up for the Walt Disney Company, because there's now a really convenient opportunity to get rid of corporate albatross Michael Eisner. This excites me because it might mean great things for Pixar!

All right, all right. I took a lot of glee from DreamWorks Animation's thrashing in the stock market after DVD sales for Shrek 2 fell below expectations, so I suppose turnabout is fair play.

As usual, we can expect lists of cute in-jokes to look for in Ratatouille. The main difference between Pixar and, say, Shrek is that the in-jokes are thrown in as extras. They're not meant as the main joke of the scene.
