The editing is often sluggish, with many slow, long moments—the rear projection era was not kind to the car chase sequence. It’s pretty fun to see Mitchum’s kid on screen, though. (He’s got his dad’s slow mumble down, and long wistful looks, but not much in the way of natural dialogue delivery.) Sandra Knight is cute and charming, wringing her hands and making puppy-dog eyes at Mitchum.
