It’s a really interesting concept, and while it’s great to incorporate comics from many backgrounds at different stages in their careers, it’s a real bonus to have seasoned pros like Tig Notaro and Gary Gulman there to keep things moving. NPH does a fine job moderating, and the filmmakers made a savvy choice to intercut the group session with “off-stage” conversations and individual interviews as well.
