With a roster of 10 or so, your teammates won’t all be your closest friends, and this film does a great job of capturing those character dynamics, as well as the abiding love that baseball fans have for their sport (and its unique and unhurried pace). Light on story, but the characters and their interactions are pretty irresistible.
