Corenswet does a fine job, and Nathan Fillion always leaves me wanting more, but overall this felt really inessential. DC needs to reboot its way out of the “Snyderverse,” for sure, but this felt more like homework than fun, and the unique sensibility Gunn brought to the Guardians films goes missing for large sections of it.
