It’s an unbelievably creative concept, with fine performances and a story that unfolds well. Sadly things run out of steam a bit toward the end, with extra exposition wedged in and some implausible escalations. But damn, there’s a cut about 45 minutes into this film that is absolutely phenomenal. Maybe top three, all-time. The movie could have been a lot worse and still would’ve been worth watching just for that.
