The visual style is captivating, and I love the performances, Denzel and Jeffrey Wright especially—but then, it’s very rare not to love their acting. There are some great dialogue scenes (especially the conversation that all of the action leads to), excellent music, and a fantastic use of Dean Winters. A very engrossing story, even though some of the macho stuff is a bit over the top.
