Cera brings his usual strengths (dry, understated humor; plenty of awkward pauses) while showing a bit more range, and Hannah Gross provides an excellent counterpoint. Sophia Lillis is always fantastic, and this is an ideal role for her: offbeat, charming and sparkly, with a vulnerability never far from the surface. It’s not really focused around a story, so much as these characters and their unique sibling dynamic, so it really benefits from their wonderful performances and believable chemistry.
