This Is Spinal Tap gets due credit for inventing the format, but for me, this is the standard-bearer of ingenious mockumentaries. The cast is perfect, the quotable lines are flying in every scene, and the songs are so, so much better than they have any reason to be. (Which of course makes it all the funnier.)
