Sadly much closer to Nobody 2 than to anything fresh or interesting or worthy of Odenkirk’s talent. Inelegantly plotted, derivative in its structure and execution, and teeming with off-screen jokes and narration added during post-production in an apparent (and unsuccessful) attempt to punch it up. Jess McLeod is terrific though, and has great chemistry with Odenkirk. Put those two on the road in a sequel that boomerangs back to the quality of Nobody, and I’ll be first in line.
