It’s an inventive script with solid directorial choices, and makes excellent use of Kaitlyn Dever’s many strengths. Editing, sound design, and camerawork sustain tension with expert precision. The wrap-up is a little unsatisfying given the potential of the first 80%, but overall quite impressive.
