I’m not sure that Hollywood is suddenly going to learn a lesson about taking risks on original ideas—or any of the other obvious lessons—but we got a very imaginative and well-crafted film out of it, either way. Inde Navarrette delivers a fantastic performance; let’s hope she chooses well from the avalanche of offers that’ll be coming in.
