Worth the wait? Absolutely! Could’ve probably packed in a few more laughs—it’s at its best when the madcap cartoon energy runs wild—but it’s clever and witty, and brimming with great sight gags and Looney Tunes references. Forte’s a great fit, and the details of the shared cartoon-human world are on par with Roger Rabbit; this was clearly a labor of love for the art department.
