How can you not be terrified that these people are allowed to vote?
Complaints to FCC Regarding Super Bowl [The Smoking Gun, via Permanently Disco]
It's sadly predictable that the messages with the highest levels of religious histrionics also feature the most spelling/grammar errors. Cheers, though, to TSG for pointing out that the fury didn't start until after the AFA mobilized its base.
Also preposterous: XXX-DVDs a new hazard for drivers [CNN]

No, much better that 14-year-olds be allowed to vote, according to California Democrats...

Eek! What a terrible idea. I don't think we want to get back to the idea of counting people as fractions of people – that didn't work out so hot last time.
"Youth feel alienated from politics and politicians..." Yeah, don't we all! They should bask in their glorious freedom from responsibility. If they absolutely can't live without getting involved with the political process, there are other ways than voting. Follow "Emily"'s lead and call some Iowans on the phone. (You'll be hard pressed to be less effective than "Emily" was!)
(By the way, anybody championing a Task Force to Promote Self-Esteem is the worst kind of fuzzy-hippy leftie. Can we change that to "according to some California Democrats"?)

This was back in front of me because The Daily Show covered it tonight, and I'm glad I'm not the only one making the 3/5 Compromise comparison. What nobody's talking about is – what about jury duty? Do fourteen-year-olds serve 1/4 of a trial?
