Come in, Orson—5:01 PM
They've taken the original audio recording of that infamous Orson Welles commercial recording session and they've acted out a skit for it. (Where by "They" I mean the Internet, of course. God bless 'em.) Pretty entertaining – I'd never heard the real thing.
You can also enjoy the Animaniacs Pinky & the Brain version (more verbatim than I'd have expected), and – of course – the parody version from The Critic. (Both are voiced by the brilliant Maurice LaMarche, who also played Kip on Futurama.)
Maybe you're wondering, "What about clumsily slapping the Welles audio together to match the Animaniacs animation?" Well, They've thought of that, too. Will the new Google-owned YouTube make it a priority to crack down on copyright violations like these? Lord, we can only hope not.
