This one definitely paints a more likable and sympathetic portrait than the LA Times feature from a month ago. It did a lot to win me over.
Two additional observations:
Does anyone do better profiles than The New Yorker? (The answer is no. That was a rhetorical question.)
I'm adjusting the "Odds Alec Baldwin Stays On 30 Rock Beyond Season Three" line up to 4,597,692 to 1. And then I'm going to go weep quietly in the corner.

I hope he stays long enough to write and direct the Grey's Anatomy episode!
If anything, this profile makes me completely confident that he'll stick with the show, because it proves that all the griping he does about it (and, in this case, most of that griping is about the original offer to do the show, which he accepted and then exceeded) is just par for the self-flagellating Baldwin course! I think the odds of 30 Rock making it to season four are longer than those of Baldwin leaving early.
