I can't speak for the Angels review (haven't seen the movie/mini-series/event - what does one call it?), but I wouldn't put as much stock in the Jack & Bobby review since it filed by Gillian Flynn and not Ken Tucker. Ken Tucker is my go-to TV reviewer - he's given favorable mentions to most of the shows I like, and I will often check out shows that he recommends. And lo and behold, there's an "A" review from him for Lost in the new issue; I was already planning to check out the pilot, and this just deepens my suspicion that I'm going to like the show and break my two-and-a-half-year boycott of ABC shows (damn you, J.J. Abrams!).
