Get that man an honorary degree from Yah-Lee Medical School—7:39 PM
A person would be hard pressed to find a silver lining to the disastrous injury recently suffered by USC football player Stafon Johnson – where his throat was crushed due to a slip during a weight training session – but I think I may have found it. Just now, one of NBC's announcers was referring to the injury, and without reservation he pronounced the word larynx "Larry Nicks," just like Alec Baldwin in that classic SNL "Doctors, Nurses, and Patients" sketch.
Beautiful. Just beautiful. I wish you could have seen it.
